Brainstorming the concept for my reel was difficult because of the highly disparate types of projects that I’d produced over the past few years. Between 2018 and 2022 particularly, American culture experienced enormous changes and shifts driven by various social, economic, and political factors. 

Between  deep political polarization,  immigration, race, gun control, George Floyd, #MeToo and Time’s Up, there seemed to be no common thread to the work. 

It was only when I thought of the period’s most significant event – The Pandemic Lockdown – as an inflection point, that I began to realize that the story was already laid out before me. 

To produce the piece, I wrote the script n Final Draft, trained an AI voice and recorded hundreds of takes to get the right emotions in the voiceover, used Midjourney to storyboard  the visuals, produced the soundtrack using Studio One and took everything into Davinci Resolve to edit and color-correct.
